Course Outline
“Search me, O God, and know my heart. Examine me, and know my anxious thoughts, and see if there be any offensive way within me, and lead me in the way everlasting.”
Psalm 139:23-24 (TLV)
Solomon describes the righteous as shoresh (שורש), or deeply rooted, which the psalmist compares to trees planted by streams of water, grounded in the word of the LORD (Proverbs 12:12, Psalm 1:1-3). As believers, our aim is to deepen our roots by growing our intimacy with God continually, a journey that persists until we meet Him face-to-face.
Embark on a transformative journey in this engaging course that delves into the heart of spiritual theology and spiritual formation, taught from a Messianic perspective, guiding you to experience a new, vibrant life in Yeshua (Jesus). Explore the process of sanctification and learn how to actively partner with the Holy Spirit (Ruach Hakodesh). Spiritual formation is the practice of growing to be more like Yeshua while also growing closer to Him relationally.
Throughout the course, we’ll emphasise the profound impact of living a Yeshua-centred life, exploring how it can free you from guilt, shame, and legalistic beliefs. We’ll also examine the New Covenant role of the Holy Spirit in transforming your heart, taking into account the effects of original sin and the patterns of sinful habits.
Together, we’ll tackle thought-provoking questions like:
- What does it mean to truly have a relationship with God?
- What hidden beliefs do I hold about Him?
- How can I discern God’s voice?
- How can I deepen my prayer life?
- And what role does the Holy Spirit play in my personal walk with the Lord?
You’ll engage deeply with Scripture, uncovering how the Lord relates to His people Israel and how the Spirit transforms believers in Yeshua. Alongside this exploration, you’ll practise spiritual disciplines like journaling, prayer prompts, and worship—designed to help you connect course teachings with your own relationship with Yeshua.
Whether you’ve been a believer in Yeshua for a day or decades, this course will help you go even deeper in your walk and relationship with the Lord Adonai. Join us as we grow together in understanding and embracing a life transformed by the Holy Spirit!
