Join us for Simcha 2026, our annual national Messianic conference, from 27–29 November at Belgrave Heights Convention Centre. This year’s theme is “Israel: Understanding the Times—Past, Present & Future“, based on 1 Chronicles 12:32.
As Israel remains at the centre of global attention, many are asking how current events relate to biblical prophecy and God’s unfolding purposes. Through Bible-centred teaching from a distinctly Messianic Jewish perspective, we will explore God’s covenant promises to Israel, His purposes in the present, and the prophetic hope that lies ahead.
The weekend begins with a joyful Shabbat dinner on Friday evening, followed by worship, main sessions, and meaningful fellowship throughout Saturday and Sunday. Special programs will also be available for children and youth.

Our International Guest Speakers
David Trubek
David Trubek serves as the Executive Director of Chosen People Ministries Japan. After serving in the Israel Defense Forces, David sensed a clear calling to bring the message of Yeshua (Jesus) to the Jewish people. In 2013, he joined Tiferet Yeshua, a Messianic congregation in Tel Aviv, as an associate pastor. For more than a decade, David and his wife served in full-time ministry, focusing on evangelism, discipleship, and congregational leadership in Israel. Their work contributed significantly to strengthening the believing community in the Tel Aviv region. The Great East Japan Earthquake of March 11, 2011, stirred David’s heart to begin praying regularly for Japan. In 2022, David and Victoria established the Japan branch of Chosen People Ministries (CPM Japan), partnering with co-laborer Isaac Uchiyama to create a Jewish outreach centre in Tokyo and open a guesthouse, Beit Samurai, which has since welcomed thousands of young people with the love of God a message of the Gospel. They actively minister to the local Jewish and Israeli communities, as well as the many Israeli tourists and students who come to Japan each year. David’s vision is to see Japanese believers and churches raised up as cultural and spiritual bridges to the Jewish people—bringing hope, peace, and the salvation of Yeshua to both Israel and Japan.
Mitch Forman
Mitch is the VP of US Ministries for Chosen People, the oldest Jewish mission in the United States. Mitch invited Jesus into his life in 1987. Afterward, Mitch became involved with Jewish missions and served 12 years in the field both in San Francisco and New York City. In 2002, Mitch and his family moved back to Boston to help in a family business. They started to attend Grace Chapel and Mitch became involved in the adult discipleship team where he taught classes focusing on the Jewish background of the Scriptures. He was also involved in the founding and leadership of Beth Yeshua Messianic Congregation in Newton, which is the heart of Boston’s Jewish community. Mitch is based in Boston but oversees all recruitment, training, mentoring and leadership of the entire US-based missionary staff.
Our Local Guest Speakers
Lawrence Hirsch
Lawrence has been serving the Messiah amongst Jewish people since 1990. He and his wife Louise are the Co-Founders of Celebrate Messiah Australia, and Lawrence works as the Executive Director of Celebrate Messiah Australia. Lawrence is also the messianic Rabbi of Beit HaMashiach Messianic Congregation in Melbourne, and is actively involved in mission work in Israel, Russia, New Zealand and South Africa.
Paul Cohen
Since 1992, Paul has volunteered and worked with several prominent ministries serving Jewish people. He has a deep love for the Scriptures, a wide knowledge of biblical theology and Jewish studies, and a strong desire to help people understand the Bible in its Jewish context. Paul and his wife Sue founded and led Brit Chadashah, Celebrate Messiah’s Sydney congregation, for 10 years (now known as Beit Shalom). He also lectures in biblical theology and Jewish studies at Western Sydney Bible School and serves as the lead instructor at Celebrate Messiah’s Messianic Training Centre.

Simcha 2026 will be located at Belgrave Heights Convention Centre, a Christian-owned centre just 40km east of Melbourne in a beautiful setting of gum trees, bush and ornamental trees on 8-hectare grounds.
Pricing includes all meals for the duration of your stay.
Camping costs $90 per site for up to four people. For groups of more than four, an additional fee of $30 applies for each extra person.

On-site stay
Hope Centre
On-site accommodation is available in the Hope Centre, as well as the camping grounds on the premises.
Please note that each room of the Hope Centre is essentially two rooms joined together by an ensuite bathroom and hallway. They are not private rooms and bathrooms are shared.
Years 7–12
Youth Program
Each year, Celebrate Messiah Youth offers a special Simcha program for students in Years 7–12—and Simcha 2026 promises to be a highlight. Youth will stay on-site with their families at Belgrave Heights Convention Centre while enjoying age-specific sessions designed to help them grow in faith, build lasting friendships, and engage with the Messianic movement in a meaningful way.
On Saturday, 28 November, the youth will also head off-site for a day of exciting outdoor activities, with further details to come.
For many of our young people, Simcha is a treasured opportunity to connect with like-minded teens, deepen their faith, and worship Yeshua the Messiah together as one body.
18 to 30 Years
Young Adults Program
The young adults (18 to 30 year olds) will meet together throughout the conference for fellowship, in order to meet like-minded young people from around Australia. Hang-outs will include coffeeshop chats and off-site activities in-between sessions. Scheduled meet-ups will be added to the schedule closer to the event. All young adults are welcome to attend!

Host Israelis Meet-Up
Our hosts from our Host Israelis program are invited to attend a meet-up during the conference to connect with other hosts from around Australia, share stories, and encourage one another in their ministries of hospitality. Frequently Asked Questions
Will Simcha 2026 sessions be livestreamed?
No, sessions will not be livestreamed. Sessions will be recorded and you will be notified after the event how you can access them.
Where should I stay during Simcha 2026?
You may choose to stay on-site at Belgrave Heights Convention Centre with their Hope Centre or camping options. You may also coordinate your own accommodation off-site.
How do I get to Belgrave Heights Convention Centre?
There are a number of travel options.
If you are coming from interstate, fly into Tullamarine Airport. You can take a taxi or rideshare directly from Tullamarine to Belgrave Heights, approximately an hour’s drive. If you intend to use our shuttle service, the shuttle will leave Tullamarine Airport at 2:00 PM on Friday, November 27 to go directly to the Belgrave Heights Convention Centre. The shuttle will leave at 1:15 PM on Sunday, 29 November to return to Tullamarine.
You can also rent a car for the weekend if you want to do some travelling around Melbourne.
Alternatively, you can take the Sky Bus from Tullamarine to Southern Cross Station, take the train from Southern Cross Station to Belgrave Station, then the 697 Bus to Stop “The Crescent/Colby Dr”. It is then a 6 minute walk to Belgrave Heights Convention Centre.
Parking – Parking is available on the Convention grounds. To maintain good relations with the neighbours DO NOT park in the street outside the Convention property. For those staying on-site, you may park at the Convention Lodge Car Park. If you only have a Day Pass, you may park at the Day Visitor Car Park.
Disabled Access – Vehicle access for disabled drop-off is located next to the auditorium on the left of Convention Avenue for drivers with disabled passengers. This is not a parking space, but cars can be parked across the road.
What times should I book my flights for that weekend?
You should arrive to Belgrave Heights after 3 PM on Friday, November 27, and may leave any time from Belgrave Heights after lunch (approximately 1:30 PM) on Sunday, December 1.
If you intend to use our shuttle service, the shuttle will leave Tullamarine Airport at 2:00 PM on Friday, November 27 to go directly to the Belgrave Heights Convention Centre. The shuttle will leave at 1:15 PM on Sunday, November 29 to return to Tullamarine.
Are meals included in the registration cost?
Meals are included with your ticket unless you book the Saturday evening session. Both Full Conference tickets and Day Passes include meals for the duration of the conference you have booked.
Are linens provided in each room?
Linens are an additional cost on top of your ticket, per Belgrave Heights Convention Centre policy. Should you opt to pay the extra cost, Belgrave Heights Convention Centre will supply you with linens (Flat sheet, Fitted Sheet, Pillow, Pillowcase, Doona in cover, Towel, Bathmat). Otherwise you will need to bring your own. Note this service is only available if you stay in the Hope Centre. Linens are not available for babies, so parents will need to bring their own linens for their babies.
Will there be free time during the weekend?
If you would like to do some sightseeing around Melbourne, we suggest getting to Melbourne early or giving yourself time at the end of the weekend before going home. We have a packed schedule from Friday afternoon to Sunday early afternoon.
Do I need to book tickets for each day of the conference?
You will have the option to book a full conference ticket, which will give you access to all three days of the conference. Alternatively, you can select “Day Pass” where you can select one to three days to attend. Full Conference tickets include accommodation on-site, so we suggest booking Day Passes for all three days if you do not intend to stay on-site.
Will there be a shuttle service for attendees coming interstate?
Yes, the shuttle will leave Tullamarine Airport at 2:00 PM on Friday, November 27 to go directly to the Belgrave Heights Convention Centre. The shuttle will leave at 1:15 PM on Sunday, December 1 to return to Tullamarine. Spots are limited, so please reserve your place on your registration.
Will there be a separate Youth Camp like Simcha 2025?
No, youth will have their own sessions tailored to them on-site during the main sessions, and off-site activities on Saturday, 28 November (transportation will be provided). They will stay with you in your accommodation on-site or off-site. For high schoolers attending our youth program, select a “Youth Program” ticket for them during registration.
Will there be childcare at Simcha 2026?
There will be a children’s program during all sessions of the conference, including a Creche Room for toddlers. A “Nursing Mums Room” will be available during all sessions except the breakout sessions on Saturday.
When should I arrive at Belgrave Heights Convention Centre on Friday?
For those attending on Friday, you may arrive after 3 PM. Note that the property will be closed prior to 3 PM. Registration will open at 4 PM. The Shabbat Dinner will commence at approximately 6:30 PM.
Can I attend for only one or two sessions?
You may choose to book the Saturday evening session. Otherwise you can book Day Passes for one to three days of the conference.
Do you accommodate dietary restrictions?
Yes, you can mark on your registration form if you are gluten free, lactose intolerant, vegetarian, or have a nut allergy. For more serious allergies like coeliac’s disease, please contact us to let us know. Please note, no pork or shellfish will be served during the conference.
