Description
Biblical Hebrew: From First Words to Fluent Reading (Part 2, 2026) (Live Online Course)
Our exploration of Biblical Hebrew continues in Part 2 of the course Biblical Hebrew from First Words to Fluent Reading. The course is designed for students with little or no prior knowledge of Hebrew. The course will expand the student’s knowledge of nouns and verbs, the Hebrew tense structure, and the principles of biblical translation. The weekly reading and writing exercises, and fully worked-out homework will guide the student towards fluency in word-recognition and sentence formation. We will be linking grammatical points to real biblical texts to reveal how understanding a Hebrew word opens new insights into God’s Word. Biblical Hebrew from First Words to Fluent Reading Part 2 will run for 10 weeks in Term 2, and will be followed by Parts 3 to 10 in 2026, 2027 and 2028. A keepsake certificate of completion will be awarded at the end of the course to celebrate your achievement.
Classes will be taught over Zoom each Monday night, 27 April – 29 June 2026, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM (AEST).
