The Intermediate Biblical Hebrew course is designed for students who completed Intermediate Biblical Hebrew 2024 Part 1, or for those with previous knowledge of Hebrew. Students continue to use the textbook The First Hebrew Primer: The Adult Beginner’s Path to Biblical Hebrew to deepen their knowledge of the grammar, vocabulary and syntax of Biblical Hebrew. Students continue to read the Book of Ruth and explore the features of Hebrew prose.

• Identifying Hollow (Middle Weak) Verbs

• Possessive Endings for plural nouns

• The Piel Pattern

• The Pual Pattern

Course Instructor

The course is taught by Eleanor Miles. Eleanor holds a BA in Biblical Literature from Oral Roberts University, and is currently working on a Master of Divinity in Messianic Judaism from the Feinberg program at Talbot School of Theology. Eleanor has taught Biblical Hebrew in Australia and the USA for many years. Eleanor works with the ministry of Celebrate Messiah in Canberra, co-pastoring Hineh Yeshua Messianic Congregation.
