Description
The Intermediate Biblical Hebrew course is designed for students who have completed Biblical Hebrew Level 1 Parts 1-4 or equivalent. Students will continue to use the textbook: Simon, E., Motzkin, L. and Resnikoff, I. (2005) First Hebrew Primer: The Adult Beginner’s Path to Biblical Hebrew. Third Edition (Berkeley, California: Publishing, EKS) to deepen their knowledge of the grammar, vocabulary and syntax of Biblical Hebrew. Students will continue to read the Book of Ruth and explore the features of Hebrew prose.
Intermediate Biblical Hebrew 2024 Part 1 runs for 10 weeks and is followed by Intermediate Biblical Hebrew 2024 Parts 2, 3 and 4.

Course Instructor
The course is taught by Eleanor Miles. Eleanor holds a BA in Biblical Literature from Oral Roberts University, and is currently working on a Master of Divinity in Messianic Judaism from the Feinberg program at Talbot School of Theology. Eleanor has taught Biblical Hebrew in Australia and the USA for many years. Eleanor works with the ministry of Celebrate Messiah in Canberra, co-pastoring Hineh Yeshua Messianic Congregation.
