Biblical Hebrew Level 1 Part 3 Course Description
Our Biblical Hebrew course is designed for students who have completed Biblical Hebrew Level 1 Part 2, or for those with some previous knowledge of Hebrew. Classes will consist of oral work, grammar, exercises and quizzes using biblical quotes, stories and the Book of Ruth.
Biblical Hebrew Level 1 Part 3 is designed to teach the student to read and understand Biblical Hebrew as quickly as possible, focusing on recognition and translation. Students will continue to use the textbook First Hebrew Primer: Beginner’s Biblical Hebrew to deepen their knowledge of the grammar, vocabulary and simple sentence structure of Biblical Hebrew.
Biblical Hebrew Level 1 Part 3 will be followed by Biblical Hebrew Level 1 Part 4 and will ultimately comprise a one-year course.

- 2) Index cards to write out own flashcards.

Course Instructor
Eleanor Miles holds a BA in Biblical Literature (Old Testament), with a minor degree in New Testament, from Oral Roberts University. She is currently working on a Master of Divinity in Messianic Judaism from the Feinberg program at Talbot School of Theology. She has taught biblical Hebrew for 8 years. She works with the ministry of Celebrate Messiah in Canberra, co-pastoring Hineh Yeshua Messianic Fellowship.
