In Leviticus 2:1, the people are told, “Anyone who brings a grain offering to Adonai is to make his offering of fine flour; he is to pour olive oil on it and put frankincense on it.”
In Mathew 2:11, both were gifts that the Magi gave to Yeshua when he was born: “On coming to the house, they saw the child with his mother Miryam, and they bowed down and worshipped him. Then they opened their treasures and presented him with gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh.”
