Course Description:
Step into the unfolding story of God’s eternal covenants and discover the profound connection between the nation of Israel and Jesus the Messiah. Today many individuals, institutions and even nations are endeavouring to delegitimise the right for the nation of Israel to exist in the land of Israel. Additionally, there are many in the world who are attempting to deny the actual existence or true identity or mission of Jesus of Nazareth.
The existence and legitimacy of both Israel and Jesus stand upon the very same foundation and principle – the purposes of God Almighty as confirmed through the swearing of a covenant oath. Oaths are a reflection of the character of the one who swears them. The character of God Almighty is dependent therefore, upon whether He keeps or breaks the oaths which He has sworn.
Our course explores the profound theological connection between the nation of Israel and Jesus of Nazareth, revealing how both stand as testaments to the sworn oaths of God Almighty.

The inseparability of Israel and Jesus in God’s redemptive narrative.
The roles of the nation of Israel and of Jesus as the collective and individual seed.
The destiny of the nation of Israel and of Jesus as the collective and individual servants of God.

Course Instructor
The course will be taught by Kelvin Crombie. Kelvin is an Australian researcher, author and documentary-maker who lived in Israel for almost twenty-five years. Kelvin developed a childhood interest in Israel while reading about Australia’s military involvement in the Middle East during both World Wars. In 1988, he pioneered the ‘In Step with Allenby and the Light Horse’ tours in Beersheba, Israel, to show others how the combined Anzac and British forces had captured this strategic town in 1917.
It was while he was in Israel, that he heard more about Jesus and his Jewish heritage and ultimately became a follower of Jesus. His interest expanded to teaching about the Jewish roots of the Christian faith and the connection between Israel and Jesus. Kelvin worked for CMJ (Church’s Ministry among Jewish People) Israel for many years as a guide, manager, and author, most of his work based out of Christ Church in the Old City in Jerusalem – the oldest Protestant church in the Middle East. He has written many books and produced documentaries on the profound heritage of the ANZACs, the work of CMJ, and the unbreakable covenant that binds Israel and Jesus in God’s redemptive plan.
