Description
This petite and elegant mezuzah with its square edges and corners give it a clean, modern look, but the rough matte silver plating softens the overall look. It is decorated with the 12 gems of the priestly Breastplate or Hoshen. The Hoshen is a rectangular plate with twelve multi-colored squares in the center and worn by the High Priest of the Israelites. It is described in detail in the book of Exodus in the Holy Bible, each square having a different gemstone for each of the twelve tribes of Israel.
