I cannot tell you how burdened and excited I am for our work in Israel among Holocaust survivors. Over the last decade, we have had an amazing ministry among them through our younger, Russian-speaking Israeli staff. We currently have many programs including special trips, Bible studies, and benevolence ministries. As a result, we have recently started a Bible study group in Ofakim, a small city of 30,000 people, where a third of the population are Holocaust survivors from the former Soviet Union.
In Jerusalem, around 50 people gather twice a month in our Jerusalem Messianic Center for fellowship and to study the word of God. Those who have attended from the beginning are believers now! Every year, a few people ask to be baptized in the Jordan River. Recently, the oldest person in the group, 90-year-old Vladimir,* prayed to accept Yeshua as his savior!
The work with Holocaust Survivors has been promising and fruitful. God has allowed us to share the Good News with more than 2,000 of these precious, elderly people.

In Israel, less than 1% of the country identify as followers of Jesus the Messiah, therefore, our Israel workers do not have the network of Christian support that they would in the United States. It is impossible for them to raise their support within Israel – and they would if they could! They need us today to support them with our prayers and finances.
Our budget in Israel is well over a million dollars a year and God meets this need one gift at a time!
