About SOLU
For the past fifteen months, news from Israel has been dominated by reports of war and devastation. Yet, God has been on the move. In recent years, thousands of young Israelis have come to faith in Yeshua (Jesus) the Messiah. This remarkable revival has inspired a wave of new worship music, blessing believers worldwide.
We at Celebrate Messiah are a Messianic organisation that seeks to “Bring the Message to the Original Messengers”, or share the gospel of Yeshua with our local Jewish community here in Australia. Inspired by the revival in Israel, we are bringing this spiritual renewal to Australia by welcoming SOLU, a vibrant and dynamic young worship band from Israel.
SOLU means “build up” and comes from Isaiah 62:10; “Go through, go through the gates. Clear the way for the people! Build up, build up the highway! Remove the stones. Lift up a banner over the peoples.” (Isaiah 62:10, TLV) The band SOLU’s mandate from the Lord is to “prepare the way for revival and Yeshua’s return”. We believe that SOLU will bring a fresh anointing of the Lord to Australia, as well as bring healing and restoration for our own lives.
SOLU’s journey began in Jerusalem at Succat Hallel, a 24/7 house of prayer. There, spiritually hungry teenagers gathered weekly to worship and cry out to God. From these humble beginnings, their ministry expanded from prayer rooms to the streets of Jerusalem, and now to nations worldwide. Their music and ministry pave a highway to prepare the way of the Lord.
For too long, media narratives have portrayed Israelis in a negative light. Through SOLU, we want to share the true heart of the Israeli people and showcase how God is doing something new and extraordinary. He is uniting Jew and Gentile, Israeli and Arab, in worship of the God of Israel and the Messiah, Yeshua HaMashiach (Jesus the Messiah).

Celebrate Messiah has been sharing the love of Messiah with Jewish people in Australia since it was was founded in 1995 by Lawrence and Louise Hirsch.
We have been blessed with the opportunity to speak in many churches, schools, organisations and events. Our outreach workers are also pastors and leaders themselves, so we understand and respect the responsibility and concern of putting someone in the pulpit to speak to your congregation.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do I invite one of your outreach workers to my organisation?
Submit our “Invite an Outreach Worker” form, with your location and preferred date(s). Our Church Outreach team will then be in touch with you to finalise the booking process. We will recommend an outreach worker based on his availability and proximity to your location. The outreach worker will contact you 1-2 weeks prior to their presentation at your organisation, in order to finalise details.
Do your outreach workers only present at churches?
No. While our outreach workers are available to come to your church or congregation, they are also available for your small group, home fellowship, business, nonprofit, organisation, school, or university.
Do you come to small groups?
Yes, our outreach workers can come to your small group, whether it be a Prayer Group, Bible Study Group, Home Group, Home Church, etc.
My church or organisation is not in Australia. Can I still book one of your speakers?
Our outreach workers do travel overseas by invitation and have spoken in the U.S, Japan, Singapore, Hong Kong, Papua New Guinea and New Zealand. Submit our “Invite an Outreach Worker” form or email us at [email protected]. Our Church Outreach team will be in touch with you to finalise the booking process.
What is the approximate cost of booking one of your missionaries?
Our missionaries live by faith and are dependent on the prayerful support of the Body of Christ. Missionary support is usually a free-will offering taken up during the visit, or an honorarium amount negotiated during the booking process. We also ask for a small travel allowance to help our missionaries defray their travelling expenses. The amount is calculated per kilometre of one-way distance from the missionary and is capped at $100.
What can I expect from your outreach worker?
They will arrive 15 – 45 minutes before your organisation’s meeting, depending on what was previously agreed upon. Some of our outreach workers will bring QR codes on flyers, which link to their support fund and our Celebrate Messiah newsletter sign-up forms. If your organisation feels comfortable, a free-will offering will be taken up during the visit.
Can I invite a Jewish friend to hear your outreach worker’s presentation?
Our mission is to ‘bring the message to the original messengers’. For that reason, we encourage you to bring a Jewish friend to any one of our presentations. Each would be suitable for a Jewish audience.
Do you offer other presentations apart from the presentations listed on your website?
Yes, our outreach workers can deliver a variety of presentations, sermons and Bible studies tailored for your organisation, to fit in with a theme that you may be running.
