Hebrew Alphabet for Beginners Part 2 Course Description
Hebrew Alphabet for Beginners Part 2 continues to instruct the beginning student to read the Hebrew Alphabet. Students will also learn the Shema Prayer, Days of the Week, Hebrew Months of the year, as well as many basic vocabulary words. Upon completion, students will be able to recognise, pronounce, and write the Hebrew letters (know their numerical value) and how to write their own names. The course is fun and engaging, with activities, songs, and games.
Required Textbook
The classes will continue to use “The Aleph Bet Story” digital package from Hebrew Alphabet for Beginners Part 1.
In addition, the classes will use the acclaimed “Learn to Read Hebrew” digital package which can be purchased and downloaded here. The “Learn to Read Hebrew” digital package will be used for Hebrew Alphabet for Beginners Parts 2 through to 4.
The digital books will need to be printed before class commences. Students will need to print the Primer, and Workbook Part 1 for this term.

Course Instructor
Eleanor Miles holds a BA in Biblical Literature (Old Testament), with a minor degree in New Testament, from Oral Roberts University. She is currently working on a Master of Divinity in Messianic Judaism from the Feinberg program at Talbot School of Theology. She has taught biblical Hebrew for 8 years. She works with the ministry of Celebrate Messiah in Canberra, co-pastoring Hineh Yeshua Messianic Fellowship.
