Tikkun Olam
Since 2009, Celebrate Messiah has provided thousands of kosher food hampers to the Australian Jewish Community through our benevolent fund Tikkun Olam – “Repairing the World”. Our focus is on those who have both physical and spiritual need – those struggling with poverty and illness, many of whom are elderly, widows and holocaust survivors. The generous food hampers, delivered on Jewish Festivals, enable us to show Yeshua’s love and faithfullness to His Chosen People. They open doors that would otherwise remain closed. We have an opportunity of sharing the Gospel through an open door and an open heart.
Online Evangelism
In 2016, we undertook our first ever online evangelism campaign – Isaiah 53 Explained – and the response was overwhelming in a very positive way. We plan to continue to harness social media platforms such as Facebook which provides such an effective means of reaching Jewish people with the Gospel.
Discipleship & Bible Study
In 2017 we are expanding our Talmidut (Discipleship) groups network to help make Jewish people disciples of Yeshua. Our online campaigns give scope to provide follow up with bible study
Personal Evangelism & Visitation
Our missionaries are following through with our Jewish contacts, witnessing and sharing the gospel on a regular basis, including; visiting sick people in hospital and providing services and prayer for nursing home residents.
Training for Jewish Ministry & Evangelism
When our new Caulfield Messianic Centre is opened, God-willing towards the end of next year, we plan to establish a Jewish evangelism and Messianic training institute.
Outreach Events – Passover Banquets
Our Passover Banquets are attended by hundreds of people all over Australia. As well as many Christians who are thrilled by the deep explanation of the origins of the Communion, an increasing number of Jewish people are attending these events, hearing the Gospel for the first time!
Outreach Events – Simcha Conference
Our annual national messianic conference, Simcha, on the last weekend of November, will have as guest speaker Dr Erez Soref, president of the One for Israel campaign of online testimonies of Jewish believers now viewed by millions of people worldwide.
Overseas Missions
Our work in Far East Russia is expanding with another congregation planted in Vladivostok. Family camps will be held in July to provide solid teaching and fellowship. We are aiming to sponsor needy Jewish families to attend. The backpackers ministry in New Zealand is growing with up to 70 young Israelis a day being hosted and ministered to.In Israel, hundreds of Holocaust survivors are being served with companionship material goods and food. The ministry in Israel also serves orphans and single mums.
