November 29 - December 1

Simcha 2024

SImcha 2024

Dates: November 29 – December 1, 2024

Location: Belgrave Heights Convention Centre in Melbourne, Victoria (3 Convention Ave, Belgrave Heights VIC 3160)

International Guest Speaker: Pastor Shmuel Aweida from Beit Eliyahu Messianic Congregation, Israel

Join us for our annual Simcha (“a joyous occasion”) national Messianic conference from November 29th to December 1st at the Belgrave Heights Convention Centre! This year’s theme will be: “One Messiah, One People: What Does Peace in the Middle East Look Like?”

Experience a unique weekend filled with inspiration and empowerment as we seek the Lord for peace in Israel.

SPECIAL GUEST SPEAKER

Shmuel Aweida

Shmuel Aweida is an Arab Israeli pastor, overseeing Beit Eliyahu Messianic Congregation in Haifa, Israel. He was born and raised in Haifa, in a believing family of Zionistic Arabs who upheld the Messiah of Israel and God’s plan for His people. He holds two Masters degrees in Theology, Leadership and Ministry. Since 1979, he has been the pastor of Beit Eliyahu and serves as chairman of Hagefen Publishing and The Ebenezer Senior Citizen’s Home. Shmuel also teaches at youth and soldier conferences and various congregations in Israel. We are thankful to have Shmuel come visit us in Australia so we may hear his unique perspective on recent events in the Middle East.

SPECIAL GUEST SPEAKER

Mark Leach

We are excited to have Mark Leach join our Simcha conference. Following the events of October 7, Mark co-founded “Never Again Is Now”, a national movement to make antisemitism unthinkable by hosting rallies throughout Australia to stand against antisemitism. Mark is an Anglican minister, whose mother was Jewish, father Catholic, and brother Muslim. He will share his story of God’s work in his life and how we all can respond at this time to show love and solidarity with our Jewish friends and neighbours.

Prepare for a transformative time of worship and teaching. This family-oriented event will kick off with a joyous Shabbat dinner on Friday, November 29th, uniting the body of Yeshua from across Australia.

Throughout Saturday and Sunday, dive into main sessions and workshops designed to uplift and motivate us in our relationships with Yeshua. Children and youth will enjoy age-appropriate programs crafted just for them.

Book your tickets today to get first access to room accommodation at Belgrave Convention Centre.  Registration is open until November 13, or until tickets are sold out.

We can’t wait to celebrate Simcha with you!

If you experience any issues during your booking process, contact our office at [email protected] or + 61 3 9563 5544.
