By Car: There are two main ways to drive from Melbourne to Apollo Bay, both starting with a trip down the Princes Highway to Geelong.
- Scenic Route: From Geelong, you can drive along the famous Great Ocean Road—passing through coastal towns like Torquay, Anglesea, and Lorne. This route takes about 3 hours without stops.
- Quick Route: Take a left onto Cape Otway Road shortly after Geelong, then continue as it becomes Birregurra-Forrest Road. After about 50 kilometers, turn onto Forrest-Apollo Bay Road, which eventually reconnects with the Great Ocean Road just before reaching Apollo Bay. This route takes about 2 hours and 30 minutes, without stops. Expect sharp turns through Forrest-Apollo Bay Road.

Thank you for opening your home and your hearts for us, you are doing something huge and it really means the world to us. Thank you for all the things you are doing for the Israeli community.
The Monday dinner was very fun and the campfire was even better! I wish I had more time to stay with you in your place in what can only be described as a little piece in paradise.
The experience (at the ZulaRoo) was just amazing and we felt at home from the first moment.
Thank you for the warm experience, it was so homey and that’s an amazing feeling when we’re thousands of miles away from home in these crazy times.
There are not enough words to say thank you for hosting us. It was our favourite hosting experience!
It is so touching to know that we have such a special place to go where we are loved and welcomed. We don’t take it for granted.
