Biography
Ron and his wife Kay are missionaries with Chosen People Ministries and reside in Southern California. Ron is originally from Brooklyn, NY and moved to California with his family as a young boy. He grew up in a secular Jewish home knowing little about Christianity and less about Jesus other than Jewish people just don’t believe in Jesus.
In an interesting reversal of events, Ron’s parents came to faith in Messiah first, and shortly after decided to share their faith with him. This was a shock to him at the age of 26. Nevertheless, as he researched these claims to prove them wrong, he was amazed to see evidences of Jesus in his Hebrew Bible, and to see how Jewish He was after reading the New Covenant Scriptures.
Ron thought this was the best kept secret in the world. As he studied and grew in his faith, his passion to share Messiah with his Jewish people also grew. He also felt a burden to share the Jewish roots of the faith with Christians, equipping them to take the gospel to the Jewish people in a way that makes sense to Jews. This led to establishing the first Messianic Congregations in Orange County.
While having a successful career as a high school teacher and then school psychologist on a high school campus, Ron enrolled at Talbot School of Theology, completing his graduate degree in Apologetics. He and Kay have four children and eight grandchildren (so far) and are very active in Messianic Jewish ministry. Now on staff with CPM, Ron’s focus of ministry is to bring a special understanding among Christians concerning the Jewish people and the land of Israel, both of which are under attack at this time, and the need for an effective Jewish apologetic and evangelism.
