“Repairing the World”
Tikkun Olam (Hebrew for “repair the world”) is about our call to partner with God in his redemptive purposes for mankind. It’s a mission to spread love and compassion through tangible acts of kindness. Our teams in Sydney, Melbourne, Bendigo, Adelaide, Perth, and Brisbane distribute food hampers to Jewish families in need in their local communities, and our Caulfield Messianic Centre in Melbourne hosts monthly luncheons that foster community and connection.
This echoes the spirit of kindness as a path upon which the Gospel easily travels, as seen in Matthew 25:35-36: “For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.”
