The ASA provides administrative support to the offices of the President provide general support to the Chosen People Ministries’ International Headquarters office.
The ASA reports to the Executive Assistant to the President and the President.

ASA Position Particulars
Location of Service: Chosen People Ministries Headquarters, New York, NY (Midtown Manhattan)
Hours of Service: Full-time, 40 hours a week, 8:30 AM-5:00 PM, Monday-Friday. Occasional longer hours may be required depending upon projects and events.
Starting Date: Immediately
Starting Salary: $42,500 per year

Orientation and Evaluations: After the completion of a 90-day employee orientation period, the Executive Assistant will conduct an employee assessment with the ASA. Chosen People Ministries provides all employees with standardized evaluations in the spring of each year. The Executive Assistant will conduct annual evaluations with the ASA.
Responsibilities and Requirements
The Role of a Chosen People Ministries Staff Member
The overarching task of every Chosen People Ministries staff member is to fulfill the Chosen People Ministries mission statement to “pray for, evangelize, disciple, and serve the Jewish people and to encourage, equip, and empower fellow believers to do the same.”
Founded in 1894, Chosen People Ministries reaches the Jewish community globally for Jesus the Messiah. Chosen People Ministries does this by fulfilling the above mission statement.
Specific Responsibilities
- Perform general office duties such as copying, scanning, emailing, preparing physical mailings, receiving and making phone calls, and faxing
- Maintain electronic and hard copy filing systems
- Sort and distribute incoming correspondence
- Manage the President’s church meetings; working with the Executive Assistant, Church Ministries Coordinator, and church contacts
- Build and maintain excellent relationships with church/congregational staff and leaders, as well as other ministry partners
- Reconcile and submit monthly credit card statements
- Prepare and submit monthly expense reimbursement forms
- Prepare and edit documents, including correspondence, agendas, presentations, meeting minutes, and reports
- Schedule appointments and make travel arrangements
- Coordinate small conferences and provide in-office hospitality
Skills and Requirements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Minimum typing speed of 50 wpm
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- A self-starter, with excellent time management skills; able to multi-task and prioritize projects in a fast-paced office
- Well-organized, thorough, accurate, with excellent attention to detail
- Strong reasoning and problem solving skills; uses sound, critical judgment
- Aptitude for working with figures
- Strong social skills and the ability to work as part of a team
- High School Diploma or above
- Minimum of two years administrative experience
